2024 marked a significant milestone for Dartford Grammar School: 100 years of rugby at the school. We were approached to create a logo for the occasion that captures the legacy and spirit of DGS Rugby while looking forward to the future.

The design reimagines the school’s iconic crest, merging tradition with modernity. At its heart is an updated depiction of the school’s angel and shield, behind an enlarged scroll, prominently displaying “DGS Rugby”, serving as the focal point of the design.

 

We adopted a sophisticated colour palette of rich gold and blue, introducing a subtle 3D effect to the design adding depth and dynamism. In addition, we also created a separate monochrome version to ensure the logo can be seamlessly used across all platforms and memorabilia.
